Community Award to Science Buddies

April 3, 2004--Ms. Cecelia McCloy, President and CEO of Integrated Science Solutions, Inc. (ISSi) announced today that Integrated Science Solutions, Inc. has granted a $1000.00 Community Award to Science Buddies an e-mentoring program designed to enrich science education by encouraging greater participation in science fairs. Science Buddies (www.sciencebuddies.org) recruits high school students (Mentors) to help middle school students (Investigators) complete science fair projects. A volunteer professional scientist or engineer is provided as an Advisor for each student mentoring team. Advisors provide deeper expertise and inspiration to the peer mentoring teams.

Science Buddies provides a way that busy scientists and engineers can easily support students interested in science or engineering.”
